Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 Chengdu/Dujiangyan
Activities for today: Airport to hotel transfer (Chengdu-Dujiangyan)
Upon your arrival at either Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport or Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, our guide will welcome you and accompany you to your hotel in Dujiangyan. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you please.
DAY 2 Dujiangyan

Activities for today: Mount Qingcheng, Dujiangyan Irrigation System
Following breakfast, we will embark on an excursion to the renowned Taoist peak, Mount Qingcheng, complete with a round-trip cable car journey, and visit the ancient Dujiangyan Irrigation System constructed in 256 BC.
DAY 3 Dujiangyan/Taoping Qiang Village/Chengdu

Activities for today: Taoping Qiang Village
In the morning, we will take a scenic 2-hour drive to explore Taoping Qiang Village, passing by the stunning Zipingpu Reservoir along the way. Taoping Qiang Village, also referred to as the Mysterious Oriental Castle, is renowned for its distinctive architecture and intricate pathways. With a history spanning over 2000 years, the village has preserved its traditional charm, making it an ideal location to delve into the history, culture, art, and customs of the Qiang ethnic group. During our visit, we will explore both the old and new sections of the village. After a fulfilling day of sightseeing, we will return to Chengdu.
DAY 4 Chengdu
Activities for today: Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, Sanxingdui Museum, Jinli Old Street
In the morning, we will start our day by visiting the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base to observe the adorable giant pandas. Following lunch, we will drive to the Sanxingdui Museum, located 40 km south of Chengdu, to explore the distinctive cultural relics. This museum is renowned for showcasing the significant ancient artifacts of the Sichuan region. Afterwards, we will continue our journey to Jinli Old Street to immerse ourselves in the leisurely local lifestyle. In the evening, we have a reservation for the famous Sichuan Hotpot.
DAY 5 Chengdu/Exit
Activities for today: Hotel to airport transfer
Following breakfast, you will get ready for your return flight home. Our guide will meet you at the hotel at the scheduled time and accompany you to the airport.

Chengdu

Chengdu is the provincial capital of Sichuan Province in Southwest China. It is located on the edge of the Chengdu Plain which is known as the “Country of Heaven” (Tian Fu Zhi Guo). The agriculture in Chengdu really develop well, as a result, it is also called the “Land of Milk and Honey” due to this. One thing you must do in Chengdu is visiting the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. 

Chengdu is famed as “the home Town of Giant Panda” which attracts millions of tourists from inland and abroad. Moreover, Chengdu has a history of more than 2,000 years with numerous historical places of interests and relics. 

You can experience the history of Chengdu can go to the Jinsha Site Museum, Sanxingdui Museum, Wuhou Memorial Temple and Wenshu Temple, or you can stroll in the Jinli Ancient Street and the Wide and Narrow Alley to relax yourself. Additionally, you’d better not miss the Sichuan Cuisine.

Dujiangyan

Dujiangyan is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan province. It is 48 km southeast of Chengdu. In the Neolithic Age, it was a region where ancient Shu people's ancestors lived and was one of the birthplaces of Ancient Shu State. 

Being an international tourist city, Dujiangyan has 2 world heritage sites. One is Dujiangyan Irrigation System, which is an irrigation infrastructure built in 256 BC during the Warring States period of China by the State of Qin, the other is Mount Qingcheng, which is the birthplace of Chinese Taoism.  

Some other famous attractions of Dujiangyan include: Guan Xian Ancient Town, Fulong Temple, Erwang Temple (Two Kings Temple), Lingyan Temple, Puzhao Temple, Jade Maiden Peak, Cuiyue Lake, Chaxi Valley, Lidui Park, Yulei Mountain Park, Anlan Cable Bridge, Insect Museum of West China, and Longxi-Hongkou National Natural Reserve Area etc.
