Chengdu is the provincial capital of Sichuan Province in Southwest China. It is located on the edge of the Chengdu Plain which is known as the “Country of Heaven” (Tian Fu Zhi Guo). Luding County is a part of the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in western China's Sichuan province. It covers an area of 2,165 km². The famous Luding Bridge is across the Dadu River. It is an important historical Chinese Communist Party memorial and it is the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. In 1935, the Red Army in the Long March "Fly Wins Luding Bridge" happened here.
Moxi Ancient Town stands at the gateway to the Hailuogou Glacier Forest Park, south of Kangding and east of Mount Gongga. It is settlements of Han, Yi, and Tibetan. Residential buildings here feature the architecture style of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). In the town, there is a Catholic built by French missionaries in 1918. Today, Moxi residents also remain national customs of Yi New Year, Torch Festival, marriage and others.
Mugetso Scenic Area, also known as Scenic Area of Kangding Love Song, is located in Kangding county, western Sichuan. It is "the Heart of the National Corridor" in the history and the center the "Tea Horse Road". Mugetso concentrates the best natural landscapes and cultural customs in western China, is the hometown of Tibet ancient legends, folk art, ethnic customs, folk dance and love songs.
