DAY 1 Chengdu

DAY 2 Chengdu/Luding/Moxi

Activities for today: Drive to Moxi, Luding Bridge
Today we guide tour to west Sichuan via the beautiful West Sichuan Plain and Ya'an. Lunch is arranged in Tianquan County. After that, we will drive through the longest tunnel in China - Mount Erlangshan Tunnel (4,176m) and then stop over about 15 minutes for photographing the unique scenic contrast of the mountain. Proceed to Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture along the picturesque Dadu River Valley. On arrival in Luding county, go on a visit to the Luding Bridge, which dates from the Qing Dynasty and is considered a historical landmark. In 1935, during the Long March, soldiers of the Fourth Regiment of the Chinese Workers and Peasants' Army secured the bridge as a river crossing vital to the Red Army. Hereafter, continue our trip along the Dadu River to Moxi Town, stands at the gateway to the Hailuogou National Glacier Forest Park. After dinner, free at leisure or take part in the optional bonfire party with roast lamb.

DAY 3 Moxi/Mugetso/Moxi
Activities for today: Kangding Love Song Scenic Area
After breakfest, we will drive to the Kangding Love Song Scenic Area (formerly Mugetso Scenic Area), which is nicknamed "the Lesser Jiuzhaigou", the area mainly consists of 6 small areas, namely the Azalea Valley, Horse Racing Terrace, Seven-color Lake, Medicine Pool, Mugetso Lake, and Red Sea Prairie.
The area is part of the Mount Gongga and features primitive forests, prairies, snowclad mountains, hot springs, and alpine lakes. We will take the sightseeing bus to the area for our visit. About 15:00 pm drive back to Moxi. Free at leisure in the evening.

DAY 4 Moxi

Activities for today: Hailuogou National Glacier Forest Park
In the morning, we drive to Hailuogou National Glacier Forest Park. At the entrance, we will take the sightseeing bus through the beautiful primitive forests to the No. 3 Base Camp via the No. 1 Base Camp and the No. 2 Base Camp. In the No. 3 Base Camp you can choose to take the cable car (at your own expense) up to the No. 4 Base Camp. By the cable car, enjoy a bird's eye view of the perfect combination of the primitive forest and glaciers. If it is a sunshine day, you can even see the magnificent giant glacier falls and the beautiful main peak of "the King of the Sichuan's mountains" - Mount Gongga (elevation 7,556 m). If you don't take the cable car to the No. 4 Base Camp, you can walk through the primitive forest to the glaciers viewing platform to see the wonders of glaciers, such as the crevasses of glaciers, glacier falls, and the mushroom shaped glaciers and so on. After lunch, enjoy a free time for your own exploration in the glacier forest park. Later this afternoon, take the sightseeing bus back to Moxi Town.

DAY 5 Moxi/Chengdu
Transfer via: flight - your arrangement
Activities for today: Drive back to Chengdu
After breakfest, we return to Chengdu. At around 5:00 PM, we arrive in Chengdu and drive to your hotel. Hereafter, your guide will escort you to the airport according to your arrangement.

- Between airports / railway station, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in the cities specified in the itinerary by the private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.
- Entrance fees:
- All entrance fees to scenic spots as listed above in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of TourJiuZhaiGou. TourJiuZhaigou will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
- Meals:
- All meals as specified in the itinerary. “B” stands for western breakfast “L” for Chinese Lunch in local Chinese restaurant. “D” for Chinese dinner in local Chinese restaurant. The quotation is basic on the above normal meals. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, or Indian food etc, please inform us in advance.
- Private tour escort for Sightseeing:
- Normal sightseeing activities as outlined in the Itinerary will be escorted with English-speaking guide.
- The English-speaking guide and driver of each city accompany you throughout the entire tour in that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.
- Accommodation (if include Yangtze Cruiser):
- Service based on two adults sharing on one standard twin/double-bed room (cabin); solo travelers or those who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room/cabin of their own are required to pay additional charge of single supplement rate. A single room (cabin) is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost; if the recommended hotel is not available, it will be substituted by a similar class one.
- All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
- Transportation:
- All the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax/ or train ticket(s) as specified in the itinerary.

| Chengdu | Chengdu is the provincial capital of Sichuan Province in Southwest China. It is located on the edge of the Chengdu Plain which is known as the “Country of Heaven” (Tian Fu Zhi Guo). The agriculture in Chengdu really develop well, as a result, it is also called the “Land of Milk and Honey” due to this. One thing you must do in Chengdu is visiting the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Chengdu is famed as “the home Town of Giant Panda” which attracts millions of tourists from inland and abroad. Moreover, Chengdu has a history of more than 2,000 years with numerous historical places of interests and relics. You can experience the history of Chengdu can go to the Jinsha Site Museum, Sanxingdui Museum, Wuhou Memorial Temple and Wenshu Temple, or you can stroll in the Jinli Ancient Street and the Wide and Narrow Alley to relax yourself. | Luding | Luding County is a part of the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in western China's Sichuan province. It covers an area of 2,165 km². The famous Luding Bridge is across the Dadu River. It is an important historical Chinese Communist Party memorial and it is the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. In 1935, the Red Army in the Long March "Fly Wins Luding Bridge" happened here. |
| Moxi | Moxi Ancient Town stands at the gateway to the Hailuogou Glacier Forest Park, south of Kangding and east of Mount Gongga. It is settlements of Han, Yi, and Tibetan. Residential buildings here feature the architecture style of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). In the town, there is a Catholic built by French missionaries in 1918. Today, Moxi residents also remain national customs of Yi New Year, Torch Festival, marriage and others. |
| Mugetso | Mugetso Scenic Area, also known as Scenic Area of Kangding Love Song, is located in Kangding county, western Sichuan. It is "the Heart of the National Corridor" in the history and the center the "Tea Horse Road". Mugetso concentrates the best natural landscapes and cultural customs in western China, is the hometown of Tibet ancient legends, folk art, ethnic customs, folk dance and love songs. |
