Jiaju Tibetan Village China

Jiaju Tibetan Village is located in Danba County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, about 8 kilometers away from the county seat. It is a residential village with Jiarong Tibetan characteristics. It is the most distinctive tourist attraction in Danba.

Jia Ju "means a hundred households in Tibetan. The village climbs up from the Dajin River Valley layer by layer, extending all the way to the foot of the Kapama Mountains. The entire village follows the undulating mountain terrain, with Tibetan style buildings scattered among the green trees on the slopes with a relative elevation difference of nearly one kilometer. Scattered all over the place, or concentrated in dense places, or on high mountains and cliffs, or among the green fields or the river banks, the smoke curls up from time to time, wreathed in clouds, and together with the spiritual valleys, clear streams, and snow capped peaks, the pastoral scroll is displayed in front of people, in the form of an art. In the 2005 beauty pageant organized by China National Geographic magazine, "Danba Tibetan Village", represented by Jiaju Tibetan Village, was rated as the top of the "six most beautiful rural ancient towns in China".
